The article presents the transition from text to technology in recent times and addresses the change its had on our generations consumption, communications, and productivity. The writier argues about how this transition has gone largely unnoticed by many and is not being addressed because it is considered the new "norm". The writer stresses the fact people dont think or process the amount of images they consume on a daily basis, weather its from social media, artwork in the house, or advertisement on the side of the streets. She highlifts visual literacy and describes it as the ability to analyze and interpret visual images with true depth. I too am a believer that technology has been corructing the world especially as it continues to grow, the amount of consumtion taking place on apps like tik tok and instagram is brain rotting todays youth. It is becoming our job to actively think about our consumtion and try to repair our ability to depict pieces of visual artwork and learn to appreciate images again.
